a second life?
Together we reuse materials, reduce CO2 and create social employment!
Every year, more than 1 million pumps, 750,000 air and dirt separators, and hundreds of thousands of float vents and valves enter the Dutch market. This results in millions of kilos of old HVAC materials ending up in Dutch landfills, being sold abroad, or being dumped there.
To achieve a 100% circular economy by 2050, affiliated manufacturers and wholesalers are joining forces with Circohvac. Together, we collect used HVAC materials by placing Circohvac collection containers at affiliated wholesalers, installers, and project locations. Together with the involved manufacturers, we give these materials a second life as refurbished products or as raw materials for new products (remanufacture).
4 steps to circular with Circohvac
Collection
Old HVAC products are collected via wholesalers, dedicated collection pallets, or pallets at project locations.
Gathering/sorting
Full pallets of old products are collected at the social workplace and then sorted by them.
Conditioning
Depending on the product and manufacturer, we condition them with the highest degree of circularity and give them a second life.
Reporting
All quantities, brands, hours of (social) work, origin, and achieved circular results are reported in detail.

Where to return

Through the collective cooperation of all chain partners, a nationwide network of collection points has been established. This means there’s always a drop-off point near you.
