The Netherlands wants to be fully circular by 2050: no waste, but reuse of raw materials. To make this ambition a reality, market leaders are joining forces in Circohvac – the circular chain for HVAC technology.

Millions of kilograms of HVAC materials enter the market annually: 7 million meters of air ducts, over a million grilles and pumps, hundreds of thousands of separators, air vents and valves. Much of this still ends up in landfills, exports or even illegal dumping streams.

With Circohvac we collect these products and give them a second life. We create social work and save raw materials. Together we prevent waste and collectively take steps toward a truly circular future.

Where can you drop off your HVAC materials?

Participating is simple: you can drop off your old pumps, motors, valves, control modules, heat exchangers, fans and other HVAC components at one of the many collection locations spread across the Netherlands. There we collect the HVAC materials, after which they are transported (electrically where possible) to a social workshop for further processing.

Do you work as an installer or maintenance partner and regularly receive old HVAC components back? Then you can also place your own collection bin in your workshop or warehouse. This way you collect directly at the source. Is the bin full? Then we pick it up and immediately place an empty one back. For the Circohvac partnership we ask for a small annual contribution to cover the costs.
